Blissful Weddings was a God Send! We are an out of town couple that needed help with pretty much all the details. We wanted a elegant affair but underestimated what a large project this was. We interviewed other planners, but none showed the sheer commitment to do "whatever it takes" like Rajul & Daphne did. You two were absolutely amazing, we received SO MANY compliments from our guests about how timely all of our events were and how professional and proactive the both of you were. Salil and I did not have to worry about a thing, and anytime I had a concern or question you both were right there. Rajul, I really appreciate you going above and beyond your duty by staying at the Sangeet for the whole program and staying in the hotel on Saturday night. Our parents don't trust many people, when it comes to events like this in our families, but both of you definitely proved how smooth and flawless even the largest of Indian events can go! Our extended family and immidiate family friends really noticed how well the two of you took control of the situation and made sure everything went smoothly. I myself am an extremely worrisome and detail oriented person and it was SO NICE not to have to worry about anything on my special day. If I needed anything I knew I could call you and any disasters would be averted by just saying the word :) All of us were concerned about how the vendor situation would work out since we had multiple vendors who don't usually work together, all of the work you two did behind the scenes really showed because the end result was just amazing. I remember walking into the reception hall and just having that WOW factor :) That couldnt have been possible without you two! I first wanted to thank you guys for all your hard work and patience with us as we went through this long, grueling (and occassionally fun:)) process. You guys were by far the best investment we made in ensuring the success of the wedding. When you were taking care of something like contacting the hotel, or the DJ, or the decorators we knew we had absolutely nothing to worry about, because the job would be done. The weekend itself, with back to back functions, went flawlessly with your tireless effort. In fact, I was shocked when I asked Daphne if there were any problems with the vendors and she started telling me things that had gone wrong or had needed "dealing with" - because I did not have a clue, you ladies handled everything so well! Even last minute pizza orders for the after party were taken care of in a flash. Thank you in all sincerity for the work you did, your fun personalities, and the advice you gave us. We absolutely look forward to working with you again and we will be recommending you to anyone that asks (and even those who dont!). I really don’t know how I could have done it all from DC without the help of Daphne & Rajul! They were very attentive to my wishes, and recommended the best vendors that fit both my budget and style. They always responded immediately to any questions or concerns and were always available to bounce ideas back and forth. Planning a wedding isn't easy. Planning 2 weddings is impossible. We got engaged in September. I'm Catholic; he's Hindu. We were having both ceremonies, lunch, and a reception all in one day. The maid of honor and bride’s mother are in Chicago and the best man is in Indiana. The groom was working in California. Plus, we had a limited budget and we were going to have over 200 guests. No, this is not just every brides nightmare, this was my wedding. Luckily, Rajul and Daphne came to the rescue. They met with us and discussed everything. We made a rough time line of the very long day. They had us focus on what we really needed to have as opposed to what we wanted. They found us a reception venue that was better for our budget and served as a ceremony and lunch location as well. They did all the research on photographers, videographers, decorations, etc. They even drove me to a couple of appointments. They personally did the flowers and centerpieces that saved us money on a florist. Ultimately, it was our wedding. So, even when they disagreed with our decisions, they went ahead with what we wanted. But they always had our budget, time and cultural restraints in mind so we could keep track of what was really important. They thought of everything---decorations, alcohol, bridal shower venue, etc. Rajul even got us outfits from India. They even designed and printed out our programs. The wedding day itself was great. We stuck to our timeline and everyone had a great time at the reception. Our guests were impressed. We were so surprised that it went so well. Rajul and Daphne planned it, ordered anything we needed, and even dealt with the vendors for us. They are very creative, organized, knowledgeable and professional---everything wedding/event coordinators should be.-Carla & Ashesh
