Planning a wedding isn't easy. Planning 2 weddings is impossible. We got engaged in September. I'm Catholic; he's Hindu. We were having both ceremonies, lunch, and a reception all in one day. The maid of honor and bride’s mother are in Chicago and the best man is in Indiana. The groom was working in California. Plus, we had a limited budget and we were going to have over 200 guests. No, this is not just every brides nightmare, this was my wedding. Luckily, Rajul and Daphne came to the rescue.
They met with us and discussed everything. We made a rough time line of the very long day. They had us focus on what we really needed to have as opposed to what we wanted. They found us a reception venue that was better for our budget and served as a ceremony and lunch location as well. They did all the research on photographers, videographers, decorations, etc. They even drove me to a couple of appointments. They personally did the flowers and centerpieces that saved us money on a florist.
Ultimately, it was our wedding. So, even when they disagreed with our decisions, they went ahead with what we wanted. But they always had our budget, time and cultural restraints in mind so we could keep track of what was really important. They thought of everything---decorations, alcohol, bridal shower venue, etc. Rajul even got us outfits from India. They even designed and printed out our programs.
The wedding day itself was great. We stuck to our timeline and everyone had a great time at the reception. Our guests were impressed. We were so surprised that it went so well.
Rajul and Daphne planned it, ordered anything we needed, and even dealt with the vendors for us. They are very creative, organized, knowledgeable and professional---everything wedding/event coordinators should be.

Story: The decor set the mood for the party. The forest themed wall paper and purple halogen lights got one lost in the darkness and danger that loomed the room. The food was exceptional and from the variety of drinks, the zombie punch being brewed in the witches’ pot was a sure hit. Thank you Blissful Weddings and Events for an unforgettable night!

When planning my niece’s graduation party, my family and I wanted to accomplish one thing; Make sure this would be the “best party ever” And it was!!
All I had to do was tell Blissful that my family and I wanted to give a graduation party for my 10 year old niece and Blissful took care of the rest. Blissful personalized the party based on my niece’s hobbies and interests. In addition, Blissful carefully considered the ages of the guests and how to make sure the party would be enjoyable for guests of all ages. Blissful researched and obtained comparative options and prices and understood where we could cut cost. As a result, we were well under budget. Blissful came up with the carnival theme as well as creative approaches to all aspects of the party. This included the invitations, carnival style games, prizes, cotton candy and popcorn machines, carousel bounce around, and tent and balloon decorations. Some parents were going to drop their children off, but after seeing the decorations and the party set-up, they decided to stay the entire time. My family and I are so pleased how well the party was coordinated and how smoothly everything flowed. Although the party was a couple of months ago, people are still talking about how wonderful it was. Daphne and Rajul were dependable, professional, and resourceful. We cannot express our thanks for all their hard work.

Dear Daphne,
As the events of August 25th and 26th settle into our memories, one feature is highlighted in our thoughts: the flowers! Long-distance wedding planning has the potential of added stress. As parents of the Groom, the rehearsal dinner was under our purview. I wanted the event to symbolize a kind of joining of the backgrounds of the Bride and Groom. How to accomplish this was a challenge that Blissful Weddings and Events helped us meet! Daphne was so good to work with. My idea of using a plant that blooms in both NH and Michigan was one that Daphne incorporated into an extravagant centerpiece. Using a live Day Lily in a heavy ceramic pot and adding colorful cut flowers the idea took shape. The two presentations were filled with cut flowers in keeping with the floral theme of the centerpiece. It all came together beautifully! The Bride's family is looking forward to adding the Day Lily to their garden as a long-lasting tribute to their daughter's wedding day! The help you gave is in the area of billing was indispensable as well. It sounds trite, but actually, when we asked you to bill us for the bride's bouquet and the men's boutonnieres, the bill came in a clear, concise format, making it easy for us to cover those costs without our having to bother the Bride's family with a break-down.
